1. When rain falls, your water tank captures water and stores it for re-use.
2. As rainwater continues filling the tank, the increased water level in the tank trips the float sensor and automatically directs WaterSwitch to draw upon your stored rainwater.
(WaterSwitch will automatically switch from using mains water to tank water when there is sufficient water within your rainwater tank.)
3. As more rain falls your household continues to draw upon your stored tank water for applications such as garden watering, flushing toilets and washing machines.
4. When the level of water inside your tank falls below a minimum level, WaterSwitch senses that water supply is not sufficient and switches supply back to mains water. This ensures you have a seamless supply of water.
